Linerealm #5 - The Market - "It's hard to find good layers these days."
We extensively explored many aspects of collaborative drawing, but the deeper we go, the more we realize how the whole world of co-worldbuilding is an untapped territory and has almost inexhaustible possibilities.
This time, the theme was "The Market" and it escalated in the best possible way. The theme portrayed Magma's typical situations that happen when drawing in large groups, like layer scarcity, OC interactions, and the clashing of drawing tools. Just like on a real marketplace, hundreds of people suddenly joined the session as Magma featured it on their front page.
The administration was a crazy act of juggling back and forth between drawing, managing the canvas, and sorting trolls out. Until suddenly we all realized that something bigger was set into motion as some developers and even Magmas' CEO started to join the jam to witness the spectacle.

Genesis of the Mags
We jokingly came up with the idea to create a fictional magma currency as if the OC's were trading layers, space, and goods on the giant marketplace.
It was one of the most surreal moments when everyone simultaneously gave it a try to come up with a logo for the currency on a small part of the canvas. It was literally as if all of our brains were connected for that moment. I've never co-developed a logo so quickly.
Little did we know that the Magma team was actually in the phase of building a new creator economy with a Magma currency. And that this currency would actually end up being used as the actual platform currency with the name "Mags", given by @ArturFast! Check out hour 3:25 where everything started!
