Linerealm #2 - Gyozas & Who is Koox?
If you have ever been at one of the Line Realm Art Gym sessions there is a high chance you came across Koox! He is a passionate chef with a catering business that hired the talented skillful, and diligent frogs helping to distribute some of the finest meals in the Linerealm Sessions!

Every Line Realm session is a truly unique unrepeatable experience with its own flavor! If you have been part of any pictures and the process you see here, please comment below! Our goal is to feature all artists here that drew in this session!
Who is Koox?
The beauty of collaborative drawing is the spontaneity and magic of the moment. It's not about the final result but the process. In one of Magma's public drawing sessions (Cz), there was a dining table with other Original Characters (OC). I added a big pig, humbly sipping on it's tea and immediately little helpers appeared. One of the helpers I drew was a frog and others joined in. I knew immediately that my first OC was born. Koox was now part of almost every Linerealm jam and served all kinds of dishes to other OC's.
Since then, Koox travels around, visits a jam here and there outside of the Linerealm. More often than not you catch him inviting himself to his own catering when the frogs are in full swing serving the best meals in town. He says it's just a measure to ensure the quality of the meal meets the high standards of his catering service.

Slow paced, unbothered.
When Koox isn’t busy making a living with his little business, he’s is out in the fields with the frogs collecting smells and flowers, to inspire new dishes.
Koox and the frogs are simply a good team. They both enjoy each others presence, accept each others flaws, share passions and leverage their skills. They’re not rich but they’re doing well, and are often to busy with serving people to be offended by a small disturbance of the world around them.
Some say they even saw Koox painting flowers when no one was watching. Everyone has so many opinions about pictures, that’s why he mostly draws alone.
Arriving well prepared, or doing an impromptu street gig?
Koox was entirely born from collaborative drawing sessions and developed further and further. And so did the dishes he served!
One of my favorite moments is when the dish that Koox is preparing is informed by the artists and OC’s around him.

This is what happened in the second big Line Realm Session! Also, the perspective grid approach I talked about in the first Line Realm report turned out to work extremely well! Everyone immediately got the assignmend.

I couldn't believe my eyes when I started realizing how well everyone tried to do the heavy lifting at the beginning of a line session no matter their skill level. The amount of story, synchronicities, and connection that happen through the painting process is something I have rarely experienced somewhere else. Of course, curating these events requires a lot of attention, but the joy of it makes it so much more effortless. And the moment you think it can't get any better, you're hit with another epic Line Realm session - Like in the next post:
